Paul Chen, President of Hi Tech Energy Co., Ltd (currently President of Welldone Company), was born in Hsinchu and educated in Taipei. He began his career in trade in the late 1970’s. In 1986, he became the eighth agent for Toshiba batteries in Taiwan, which was also when he came into contact with the energy industry for the first time. Five years later, Welldone topped the sales volume and became the general agent in Taiwan for Toshiba consumer batteries the following year. To stand out amongst numerous agents required more than jus hard work, but also perpetual reflection and innovation.Thereafter Welldone Company has achieved a lot of firsts, such as being the first company to sell cellular batteries in marketing channels like President Chain Stores; the Energy Department of The Company is also the first in Taiwan in the ODM of single batteries. Welldone Company has successfully become the biggest marketing intermediary in Taiwan selling pre-paid cards as well as being the first in the sales of Foreign Worker Cards
Having achieved so many firsts, the biggest wish of President Chen was to give back to Mother Earth, that is, by setting up a large-scale Li-ion battery management system company – the Hi Tech Energy Co., Ltd
